The Cruises are winding down……only three Mondays left for the season!
We had a record crowd – spectators and cruisers. It was beautiful weather and again, everyone hung out for a while longer than Aloha Phil was playing the music. 50/50 was up to $810!!!

It has been a great year at Riverfront. Vote in Cruisin Times for us so we can continue the #1 Spot even yet another year!

New 789 Chevy, a 1957, 1958 & 1959 - Chevy all Rolled Into One!

This car was built by N2A motors(No Two Alike). The company is planning a production run of about 100 vehicles.

It sits on a Corvette C6 chassis, the front styled like a 57 Chevy, side like a 58, rear like a 59. Hence the designation "789."

Labor Day – what an afternoon and evening for a Cruise. It was the largest turn out we have ever had at Riverfront! It was a perfect weather evening for a cruise and everyone enjoyed it! The music stopped and the cruisers just hung out talking for a while. The 50/50 was very close to $900 and the door prizes were fantastic.

If you haven’t joined us yet at Riverfront on Monday nights, come out and see what’s happening in Cuyahoga Falls. There are only 4 Cruise nights left for the season – take advantage of them and visit the Riverfront Cruise In!

Hot! Hot! Hot! But it was a perfect night for Cruisin! We have had such a fantastic turn out this year. It is so enjoyable to see all the different rides that attend this cruise. The door prizes have been so great this year along with the 50/50 Raffle always high enough to be excited about winning. It is such a great group of people sitting around visiting that it seemed no one wanted to go home even when Aloha Phil stop playing the music…but then they all have something in common and they all know what is ahead of them for weather in the next few months. SEE YOU ALL LABOR DAY!

AUGUST 23, 2010 RIVERFRONT CRUISE

It was a threatening afternoon and evening with the weather. Most everyone weathered it out and stayed with little sprinkling on and off. The food sure was great! Route 66 Hot Rod Café had stuffed cabbage, stuffed peppers and their regular menu. Yummy!

The 50/50 was a bit off tonight but still was a good night to win. Here is hoping for better sunny weather next week.

It was truly the PERFECT WEATHER for a Cruise Night.

Hey Cruisers! We are growing each and every week. It is amazing to see the turn out that Riverfront is getting. Could it be because of the judging and awards given out – or could it be the fantastic door prizes Don Sitts gives out each week or could it be the high number the 50/50 attains each week? Or maybe it is just the plain ole camaraderie developed
by these cruisers. Whatever it is, they seem to be enjoying each other every week.

It was hot! hot! hot! but we still had the cruisers show even though there was a threat of rain. The door prizes were fantastic again along with the 50/50 Raffle close to $600. Come and join us if you haven’t yet and feel the nostalgia in the air.

What a great cruise night! The scorching heat did not keep cruisers away from the best cruise in the area. The lower level was full – of Camaro’s and Firebirds and what a beautiful sight to see. We thank you one and all cruisers for your attendance. If it weren’t for you, Riverfront would not continue to be the Number One Cruise of the Year!

The 50/50 Raffle was over the $850 mark. How exciting this is for the winner! See you all next Monday.

JULY 26, 2010 RIVERFRONT CRUISE IN - Muscle Cars of the Fifties

This was truly a perfect cruise evening. The weather was outstanding and we seem to have topped the number of cars attending, but we found spaces for everyone. We will always fit everyone in so keep coming and making Riverfront Cruise In the best! We continue to grow because of our great sponsor, Don Sitts of Don Sitts Auto Sales for doing such a great job putting this all together and making it #1 for the past three years. Don has made it worthwhile because of the many, many wonderful door prizes he gives out. Again, we want to thank Mary Ann and Brian Zimmerman for putting together the patriotic and 50’s, 60’s, & 70’s puzzles donated towards our door prize drawings.

Our food vendors this year deserve a big hand!! Johnny K’s on the South Side of the mall with many choice specials, and Route 66 Hot Rod Café at the North Side by the fountain, with Monday night cruiser specials of the most delicious food and DJ-ing at the same time.

Our 50/50 was the biggest so far this year topping $1,000!!! How exciting that was to be the winner of $500.

We also helped Richard & Sharon Horn of Cuyahoga Falls celebrate their 50^th Wedding Anniversary by sharing cake with them.
